In the early 1960's a new American Handbag Company began, it was Coach. Founded by William and Miles Cahn and to this creative team they added there new and forward thinking designer Bonnie Cachin.

The Coach line started with basic silhouettes and high quality leather that seemed to last forever. Few baby boomers started there first job after college without carrying a basic Coach Handbag or Briefcase. With this fashion accessory people new you were serious and on your way up the corporate latter. Those were the days you carried the same bag all the time. That was ok because you were stylish carrying affordable luxury.

As time went by they added many silhouettes and fabrications the Handbag Line took on a new look and the basics took a back seat to all of the forward and fashionable creations. Were did all your old favorites go? Like goof friends they were always around but were just taken for granted.

Today Coach has reintroduced a line of classic favorites. Coach has a collection of original styles from there archives and the bags have bound leather edges and distinctive hardware. The line includes handbags, backpacks, travel pieces, brief cases, organizers, wallets and accessories. Each item is made from the same soft glove tanned cow hide, water buffalo leather and weather resistant travel twill. Each piece of the collection will proudly display the Coach signature tag.

How customers use these bags is always important to the people at Coach. How there were made, the pockets and stitching all were carefully considered to provide for efficiency and strength. Each bag is made with the same quality, craftsmanship and love that it was made over 60 years ago.

Like everything else in our culture what we remember from our youth we perceive to be better so why shouldn't the legacy of Coach be the same.
